Manchester United Premier Cup
April 2010
Coastal Spirit U-15 boys finished 3rd in the national playoffs for the Manchester United Premier Cup, incuding drawing 2-2 with eventual winners East Coast Bays. Coastal Spirit's Connor Lidstone was named Tournament MVP. Results
Kanga Cup - U-15 Girls win Final; U-14 Boys finish close to reaching Final
Coastal Spirit sent an U-14 Boys and an U-15 Girls team to the Kanga Cup in Canberra, Australia in July. The U-15 Boys were in Pool A with 4 Australian teams: Belnorth (4-2), Brindabella Lightning (7-1), Woden Valley (4-0) and Colo SFC (1-4), in the playoff group Coastal Spirit lost to Adelaide City 1-3 and beat Gungalin Strikers 7-2Although missing out on reaching the Final, they won their Cup's Fair Play Award. The U-15 Girls were in Pool A with 4 Australian teams: Gladesville Ravens (1-0), Tuggeranong Comets (12-0), Belnorth (10-0) and Tuggeranong Meteors (19-0). In the semi-finals CSFC beat Tuggeranong Jillaroos 8-0 and won 6-0 in the Final v Feng-Si JHS (Chinese Taipei).

2009 Volunteer Junior Coordinator Required
Coastal Spirit FC is looking for a dedicated person to take control (responsiblity for the development and day-to-day running) of our junior in-house grades for midgets (5th-8th grade) based at Bexley.
Responsibilities for this position:
- Allocation of playing fields
- To ensure draws (fixtures) and results are managed effectively
- Positive Communication reporting to Junior Club Captain.
- Management of team selections on a weekly basis to ensure the players are rotated regularly
